Upper Belt Students who have reached the level of proficiency and commitment to make it to Black Belt are invited by their instructor to become assistant instructors and join the Black Belt Club.

They wear separate uniforms and are allowed to assist in the instruction of new students, compete in tournaments and give public demonstrations.
